The ICTSI Foundation and Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT), in partnership with the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), donated 500 kilograms of rice, 10 boxes of assorted canned goods, and 50 kilograms of premium raw cane sugar to the Missionaries of Charity for Elderly People in Tayuman, Tondo Manila on 20 June.

The donations are meant to support the sustenance of aged citizens under the care of the religious community. Eloida Arcena, ICTSI foundation program head; Iran Isabelle Servillon, MMT corporate affairs and management services manager, spearheaded the turnover of supplies to Josephine Salosagcol and Dinna Serran of PPA – PMO NCR North.

The initiative supports the PPA’s Serbisyo at Malasakit (service and compassion) corporate social responsibility program and aligns with the advocacies of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc.’s (ICTSI) sustainability development program. It also reflects MMT’s continuing commitment to serve both the logistics sector and the local community.
