Employee donors from Manila Harbor Center (MHC) chose to make a difference last 28 February by donating blood in support of the Philippine Red Cross’ (PRC) blood-letting program.
Held at the terminal’s multipurpose hall, the campaign collected a total of 10,350 ml of blood from employee donors. PRC doctors explained that donating blood not only save lives but also benefits donors by lowering their blood cholesterol levels, regulating iron in their blood, improving their blood pressure, and reducing their risk of stroke and heart disease.
