MMT, BOC boost collaboration on logistics governance

The Manila Multipurpose Terminal (MMT) management team warmly welcomed newly appointed Bureau of Customs – Port of Manila (BOC-POM) District Collector Alexander Gerard Alviar along with Sub-Port Collector for MMT Atty. Ernelito Aquino, who visited the terminal together with their respective heads.

The management showcased MMT’s profile, emphasizing its year-on-year performance, cargo handling capacity, equipment availability, and one-stop-shop services. Following the meeting, the management led the delegation on a tour of the terminal. 

Mr. Alviar expressed his gratitude and confidence in continuing the collaborative efforts between the bureau and MMT to enhance trade facilitation, improve revenue collection and strengthen border protection at the Port of Manila.
