Manila Harbor Center (MHC), the largest international bulk and breakbulk handling facility at the Port of Manila, is leasing its largest covered warehouse facility to PhilCement.
As infrastructure and construction projects flourish across the greater Manila area, PhilCement is strategically positioning itself to capitalize on the surge in demand by establishing a Manila hub. The facility not only expands PhilCement’s footprint in the region, but also optimizes supply chain distribution.
“This strategic alliance will centralize the NCR operations, generate cost savings and streamline PhilCement’s requirements,” explained Phillip Marsham, ICTSI global director for MHC.
PhilCement will move its products from Bataan to the Manila hub for storage and distribution to consumers 24/7. The hub will serve as the central Manila operations of PhilCement.
“The flexibility of PhilCement in delivering high quality cement products by land and sea will be faster and more efficient through our strategic location here in Manila Harbor center,” said Rey Cervera, PhilCement logistics head.
